The WordPress website of Forster Schuh- und Orthopädietechnik GmbH was expanded with a WooCommerce shop as part of a relaunch. The redesign with the premium theme from Avada had two goals.

  1. The website was designed to strengthen the local shoe trade and the customisation of insoles, orthopaedic custom-made shoes, prostheses and orthoses.
  2. The website was to be expanded with a shop to enable the nationwide sale of high-quality shoes and orthopaedic products.

Cooperation with SEO agency

Working closely with an SEO agency, we developed a navigation structure that met both objectives. High-quality editorial content enabled relevant topics to be placed in Google searches. The optimised texts describe suitable products and services that visitors can purchase on site or in the online shop.

Connection to the BITS ERP system

In order to centralise product maintenance and save duplicate work, the WooCommerce shop was directly connected to the customer's ERP system. Brandt Software-Produkte GmbH BITS connected. Product data is synchronised via a regular data exchange and orders are transferred to the ERP system for further processing.
