03 / How it works
Importing posts into WordPress. In three steps.
The plugin retrieves your job vacancies via Personio’s Recruiting API and saves them to your WordPress database.
01 — Connect
Connecting WordPress and Personio.
Once the installation is complete, simply enter your Personio URL, for example https://ihr-unternehmen.jobs.personio.de. Your vacancies will then be imported automatically or with a single click.
02 — Design
Styling using blocks or widgets.
For job listings, filters and individual views, the plugin provides ready-made Gutenberg blocks (Light) or widgets for your page builder (Pro). This allows you to create exactly the layout that suits your website. Alternatively, you can use shortcodes.
03 — Publish
Post listings and jobs.
Embed job boards and individual job vacancies exactly where applicants are looking for them. With the Pro version, interested candidates can apply directly on your website – their details are automatically sent to Personio.
04 / With the Pro version
Post views in the Page Builder design.
You can style job and list views directly within the page builder used to create your website – without any coding. 17 page builders and themes are supported.

The Pro version is available on a subscription basis at the following net prices:
- 1 month: €50
- 12 months: €35 per month (total €420)
- 24 months: €30 per month (total €720)
The total amount will be charged upon completion. The subscription is automatically renewed for the period booked and can be cancelled at any time.
The free Light version imports up to 10 job vacancies in German and English and displays them using blocks, widgets or shortcodes. The Pro version adds application forms with submission to Personio, widgets for Page Builder, manual sorting, rich snippets, all Personio languages and an unlimited number of job vacancies.
Yes. The plugin provides abilities (skills) for AI assistants – even in the free Light version. If your AI is connected to WordPress, simply describe what you want and it’ll take care of the set-up: from connecting to Personio to job listings, filters and display. No programming knowledge required, and no need to click through all the settings.
Although embedding the job listings via an iFrame is straightforward, it does have significant drawbacks:
- Browsers display iFrames differently.
- These elements do not blend harmoniously into the website’s design.
- In terms of SEO, including this adds no value and may even have a negative impact (Find out more at SISTRIX).
Integration via PHP code is more flexible than using an iFrame, but it also has its drawbacks:
- The display options are very limited.
- The individual links are still located outside the website.
- This integration is not helpful for SEO.
- Knowledge of PHP is required.
The plugin combines a technically straightforward set-up with genuine, native integration. You continue to manage job and candidate data centrally in Personio. On your website, the job listings adapt to the design and can be indexed by search engines.
