Website relaunch using WordPress and Elementor for IT SONIX
For the IT SONIX Custom Development GmbH We completely redesigned the company’s website for this Leipzig-based firm. The aim was to ensure that this full-service provider of bespoke software development presented itself online in a manner that was just as structured and accessible as its approach to project work – with clear entry points into its core competencies, industry solutions and case studies.
As part of the relaunch, the Move to WordPress. The existing content was reviewed, reorganised and transferred to a completely revised page structure. Core competencies and sector-specific services have since been organised into separate, equal-ranking levels – visitors can navigate from the home page to the exact topic relevant to them in just a few steps.
This WordPress website we have used the Page Builder from Elementor implemented. The Move to WordPress we supported them throughout the entire process.
Focal points of the implementation
- A completely new site structure: Services, sectors, companies and careers have been reorganised. The navigation menu displays the two categories – core competence and sector – side by side, rather than mixing them on a single level.
- Migrating to WordPress: Content, structure and URLs have been migrated and safeguarded using a well-organised redirect strategy to ensure that existing visibility and links are retained.
- Modular system: All pages are created using a defined set of reusable sections – hero, service tiles, success story teasers, text-and-image section, contact section. New pages are assembled, not built from scratch.
- Optimised user experience: Faster access to relevant information, clear entry points for each target group and consistent calls to action right through to the specific point of contact.
- Performance through a systematic approach: The modular structure significantly reduces the number of individual layouts. This keeps Elementor streamlined, ensures consistent behaviour across all pages and has a direct impact on loading times.
- Spotlight on success stories and white papers: Project case studies, white papers and blog posts are brought together via standardised teaser modules and can be edited and updated at any time.
- Bilingualism and editorial skills: The German and English versions of the website are managed separately. The IT Sonix team can create content independently without affecting the layout.
- Responsive design: All modules are designed to work on desktops, tablets and smartphones, and retain their structure on every device.
The result is a a clearly structured, fast and scalable corporate website, which provides a clear overview of the full range of services offered by IT SONIX. The modular system ensures that new service pages, success stories and blog posts can be created without any development effort – the website grows alongside the company without compromising its structure or performance.
