Redesign of the Allectra online shop with WooCommerce and Elementor Pro

Allectra needed a powerful, scalable and internationally orientated e-commerce platform for online trading with a range of over 5,000 products.

The aim was to realise a modern WordPress online shop that meets the highest standards in terms of both technology and content - including Multilingualism (German/English) and the Connection to an individual merchandise management system

This WordPress website we have with WooCommerce and the Page Builder from Elementor implemented.

Focal points of the implementation

Technical realisation
Realisation of a high-performance WordPress online shop based on WooCommerce with scalable system architecture for over 5,000 products. The technical structure was designed for high performance, stability and expandability. Clean code structures, caching mechanisms and targeted performance optimisation resulted in a fast, reliable platform with an optimal user experience on all end devices (mobile first).
Multilingualism (German/English)
Integration of a fully bilingual system with centralised content and product management. The language versions were designed to be SEO-friendly, including a clean URL structure, hreflang attributes and clear indexing logic. This optimises both international visibility and user guidance for different target markets.
Connection to merchandise management
Development of a customised API interface to connect the proprietary merchandise management system. Product data, stock levels, prices, orders and customer data are automated and synchronised in real time. This creates efficient processes, high data consistency and a seamless connection between the online shop and backend systems.
E-commerce functions & UX
Implementation of intelligent product filters, powerful search functions and structured category logic for large product ranges. The checkout process was specifically optimised for conversion and the entire user experience was designed to be clear, intuitive and user-centric in order to sustainably increase the conversion rate.
